The Squid Game Keycap Collection—a set designed to bring the tension and drama of the show to your fingertips.

Creating a keycap set inspired by Squid Game wasn’t just about replicating visuals—it was about storytelling. Our design team focused on three core elements:

  • The Red Guard (circle, triangle, square) became central novelties, meticulously placed across modifier keys.

  • The Green Player Tracksuit inspired the base color palette, with accents of stark white and bloody red.

  • The Dalgona Candy shapes were subtly integrated into secondary legends.

  We used Pantone-matched colors to replicate the show’s stark contrasts:

  • Guard Red (Pantone 186 C) for urgency and danger.

  • Player Green (Pantone 2258 C) for tension and anticipation.

  • Neutral White to balance the intensity.

• Layout and Typography
  Custom typefaces were designed to mirror the show’s minimalist yet bold aesthetic, with geometric legends that stay legible even in low-light setups.

To ensure durability and visual fidelity, we employed a combination of advanced manufacturing techniques:

• Material Selection: High-quality PBT plastic was chosen for its resistance to shine and long-term durability.

• OEM Profile: Each keycap is sculpted to ergonomically cradle fingertips, enhancing comfort during extended typing sessions.

• 5-Sided Dye-Sublimation Printing: This technique allowed us to wrap designs around the entire keycap—including sides—without compromising sharpness or color vibrancy.

• Two-Shot Molded Legends: For frequently used keys, we combined dye-sublimation with double-shot molding to ensure legends never fade.

Quality control involved 3 rounds of sampling, with each keycap inspected for consistency in color, texture, and stem alignment.
